SRC Member Law88 Posted May 31, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 31, 2015 Yes! I saw that too, not sure where did it come from? I do 20% wc weekly (tap water with conditioner). Attached is the test kit I use for Po3/4 measure. Not sure how to read absolute. It's this normal?

SRC Member Clement Chen Posted June 1, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted June 1, 2015 Its coming most likely from the tap water. We usually use ro/di water. Or can buy distilled water from NTUC also. SRC Member Clement Chen Posted June 1, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted June 1, 2015 For a small tank can get those 2 canister di unit from madpetz. Not that ex Quote Clem's Clam Corner (Decommed) 60cm x 40cm x 30cm Tank Nano tank reboot v2.
SRC Member Law88 Posted June 1, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted June 1, 2015 Thanks Bro. Thinking of getting the RO/ DI unit. Invest for future upgrade as well.

Attached is the test kit I use for Po3/4 measure. Not sure how to read absolute. It's this normal? The test kit u using doesn't test for really low levels of po4.(>0.1ppm). For marine po4 @0.2ppm is enuff to trigger nuisance algae growth. SRC Member Law88 Posted June 2, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted June 2, 2015 Thanks bro for the encouragements. Going to source for a RODI to bring down the phosphate before Alage go out of control. Any good recommendations?
SRC Supporter dinGdinG Posted June 2, 2015 SRC Supporter Share Posted June 2, 2015 Nice tank bro~! You can check out the Zero rodi unit at madpetz or the crystal di unit. These 2 are the more commonly used ones. You should get one if you are really getting an upgrade soon. As for now, stop using tap water and go get the life distilled water for your water change, 12 bottles of 1.5 litres for $6 only. I have been using it for the past 9 months, so far so good As for your po4 test kits, go for the hanna checker, the most accurate po4 test kit imo.. Reef on~! Quote Just have to keep reefing... cant stop now~!
patricklhc
Consider also Rowaphos to help bring your po4 down. Rodi helps remove from tapwater however the food we feed our animals will also increase your po4 and remember u still have no3 to deal with Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
