Just want to share went diving in tioman end of june. It was my first dive trip. Thats when i was inspired to start my reef tank again. haha...

Display Tank : 36" x 20" x 20" Herbie overflow box design, Sump : 36" x 21" x 17", Frag Tank : 16” x 20” x 16”, custom built by Tank Culture.

Lightings : Ecotech  Radion XR15 Pro x 2 for Main Display Tank, Inled R80 x 1 for Frag Tank.

Chiller : Dalkin 1hp compressor with build-in drop coil.

Skimmer : Skimz Octa SC205i Protein Skimmer.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

BPR: Marine Source Biopellet  Reactor with Continuum Reef Biopellet Fuel.

tank crashed in nov and dec last year due to very bad bryopsis outbreak. managed to save some corals with the help of willy! Have restarted and keeping sps this time.

Have been fighting to bring down phosphates to no avail. Even using phos correx can't seem to bring it down. Suspect that my live rocks or marine pure block is leeching heavily due to the me killing it all with bleach. Going to swap the marinepure block with 10L of siporax. Now cycling in a bucket

Due to some negligence bryopsis attacked my tank again. At the same time have lost quite a few sps. It was a tough time. Did quite a lot of clean up. Removed quite few rocks to remove the dead spots. And removed most of the sand bed to easier manage my nutrients. 

To combat the bryopsis i manually removed the bryopsis used hydrogen peroxide on the left overs. After about 2 months of rigorous water change and hydrogen peroxide dosing it is finally held at bay. Started to stock up some frags as well.
