I feed the spirulina tablets to my fishes as a supplement, and today I dropped in 1, and the starfish readily swallowed the entire tablet! Then I dropped in another, hoping my other fishes get a chance to eat it, but the starfish eats it up again!

Is there a way to stop this monster?

one simple sugguestion.... drop two tablet at two different locations as far apart as possible.

That was what I did, but the starfish seems to know the tricks and immediately it starts to move toward the tablets and gobble them up. Haha, now the starfish looks so bloated. Too bad I don't have a DC, otherwise I'll post a pic here.

your bristle star move faster than your fish????

It doesn't move faster than my fishes, although I would say it is very alert and agile. The reason my fishes can't consume the tablets immediately is because the tablets are hard, and it takes time for the tablets to soften in the water. By then, the starfish would have taken the entire tablet.

I'm not removing the starfish as it is a very good cleaner in my tank.

Hi bro,

the brittle star is not a joke..... <<warning>>

I used to keep a 3 inch black brittle star, and that

monster actually went after my blood shrimp ate it up.

It swallowed two of my 2inch blood shrimps and a pregant 3inch

cleaner shrimp. :o while I was in reservist. My wife saw that big

monster cornering my shrimps but I ask her not to put her hands in ....

When I came back I flush that thing down my toilet bowl .....

Please monitor your monster and don't let it be a tragedy.

Cheers
