terryansimon
Man Utd won 4-2. and nobody, and I mean nobody, can accuse them of being bullies this time round. they really did outplay Arsenal this time round. and John O'Shea should consider becoming an attack midfielder. first against Boro, today against Arsenal. hmm. roidan
The sphere of power has indeed shifted away from Manchester to London.... but to Chelsea....not Arsenal For all anti-ManU fans out there, let Chelsea and Arsenal take turns in depriving ManU of the premiership crown in seasons to come Quote Advanced Aquarist (March05)
evanscence
well the season has not ended yet....remember, MU was trailing once during the championship race and eric cantona return spur them to do the impossible....i can sense o''shea emergance as a attacking midfielder as the catayst for De Javu again.... glory glory Man united..... roidan
yeah...it used to be that ManU only had to worry about Arsenal, now with 2 contenders Chelsea and Arsenal and if ManU still manages to win the premiership, then even anti-ManU fans like me have to accept with respect Quote Advanced Aquarist (March05)
SRC Member diabolus Posted February 2, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted February 2, 2005 There is no Eric Cantona this time round. basically, i dun see anyone in Man U that have the charisma to bring Man U to the top again. Arsenal is slowly but surely losing their plot. Its chelsea's season this year, only they can lose it. who says money can't buy titles? RAV-65
4got to add, my prediction for half-time only... duh... Tink gotta admit, the title race is over... in fact b4 this match, I already tink that Chelsea cant be caught.... they have a strong team and also great players in the sidelines as reserves, Arsenal, and even Man U, dun have enough cover when their 1st team players get injured... I tink this is Chelsea's year... Quote People do not plan to fail; Often they just fail to plan... Wat I do to prevent myself from tearing my hair out... My stress remedy... roidan
actually chelsea has always been underachieving for many years despite the quality of their players..... it's time to give their supporters something to cheer about At least the trophy will be going from one London neighbour to another Keep it in London for a couple of years more yah? Quote Advanced Aquarist (March05)
tivoli
of course money can buy trophies. 1) Chelsea bought MU's CEO for his marketing and franchise manangement powers 2) Chelsea bought the best coach/manager in the whole world (Jose Mourhino) from Porto 3) Plus Chelsea bought players freely .... without any home grown talents. The whole Chelsea team was bought with Roman's money. Of course they are winning the trophy.

terryansimon
and why not to Man Utd? I mean, if they won the title, they probably deserve it. Chelski, I mean Chelsea winning the title? why not? if they work their socks off for it, they deserve it. petty rivalry is driving me up the wall. anyway, from a true sportsman, may the best team win. discount rivalry and all those. it's like rugby. gentlemanly *yah. right* hand shake when the contest is over. but for now. RAV-65
One consolation is that any team, be it Arsenal, Man U or Chelsea that wins the title is a worthy winner... at least the team playing attractive football... Although I have been a long time Arsenal fan, I must say the titles won under George Graham came with some pretty boring football... Quote People do not plan to fail; Often they just fail to plan... George Graham epitomised resolute defending. someting that italian teams used to do frequently, until they smashed transfer records with Ronaldo and Vieri and goodness knows who else for ludicrous amounts of money.
