Felix Wong
Hi, Pardon my ignorance. I have a 2-ft tank and uses only 1 Arcadine Marine White Light and a Blue Light. I think it's T8. That's what the LFs says. I'm keeping jewel coral, frogspawn, hammerhead, octopus coral & zooanthids. They seems ok. Also supplement these corals daily with phytoplankton. Is the lighting enough? Should I have one more additional T5? but there's only 2 standard light tube holders, how do I get an additional light tube holder? Thanks. Frank
I´m new to this forum. My name is Frank an I am from germany where there is a big number of people using only T5 or mixed with HQI. I got 4*54W (2*aquablue, 2*blue) over my 300 liter SPS tank and I would always go again with it The ATI bulbs are the cheapest specials tank bulbs here in germany. Great tank you have there....ATIs are rock solid and they produce results! Unfortunately...we dun get regular stocks here...even bulk orders take forever can you show some closeups of the SPS? Would be great to see the colours under the T5s
SRC Member danano Posted February 25, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted February 25, 2005 Frank, another warm welcome to SRC! I too use ATI T5s and am very pleased with it. 8x 54w (5x Aquablue Special and 3x Blue Plus) light up my 110 gallon (416 ltr) sps dominated tank. I would love to see more German sps tanks that use T5s. Have you got links to such tanks that you can share with us? Posting pictures here would be great as well. Frank
thanks to you guys for welcome Some close-ups The ATI bulbs and reflectors really belong to the best. Sorry to hear that it is not easy to get them in Singapore We pay here just 15€, around 11,50 US$ for one 54 W aquablue special. Here are some links to only T5-SPS tanks. 3400 Liter Bernd Mohr http://www.korallenriff.de/Mohr/fotohaupt9.html http://www.korallenriff.de/Mohr/fotohaupt10.html http://www.korallenriff.de/Mohr/fotohaupt11.html 2000l Andreas Neufeld http://www.miniriff.org/reisenneufeld.html Griems http://www.miniriff.org/reisencj.html 500l Oliver Landwehr http://www.miniriff.org/beckenbeschreibung.html
