cannister filter (650l/h). This take about 2hr to drop from 31C to 27C and

stop for 10 min and run again.

Will the CL650 work better ? Do I need another pump.

It's for my 2.5ft tank.

Hi Lee,

It definitely will perform better that the CL280 due to its colling power.

I ran it on my 3ft with 2.5ft sump and it is capable in retaining my pre-set temperature of 28 degrees but running every 45mins for about 3mins each session.

I do not know the flowrate of the Atman cannister but I ran my with a Sicce idra which flowrate is 1400l/hr

Took 2hr to cool down my tank ( 3x1.5x1.5 and sump 3x1.5x1.5 ) from 28 to 24 ( 4C ).

Than maintain 24C.

Run for 10mins Rest for 20mins++ ( depend on Light On / Off ).

No noise, hardly hear noise , unless u sit next to it and it's middle of the night ( NOW LAR ).

Value for money Chiller.
