yo,

Acidjazz is right. For a 5ft, you need more than 100kg of rocks.

I bought mine from a variety of LFS. From IAquatic to Iwarna to CoralFarm. Also got some small pieces from MarineLife also. Their range is from $5 to $16.

Get cured LR. But then again, who guarantees that its really cured? In this forum, alot of discussion was posted on using cured/uncured/dead rocks. Spend sometime to search around.

Alot of experts in SRC. Can ask them on curing rocks also. :)

Iaquatic sells LRs???

 i tot Ian only does Acrylic???... u meant i-aquarium... si boh?? dun confuse lehz....

if u want huge LRs... i think u should go for Fiji... more natural shape and better colour.... and when u stack fiji rocks... they look more natural as compared to those indo ones...

u can either try... Paradiz Reef... (yup! typed the whole name for the kick of it.) and also Coral Farm... these are the only 2 places i know where the Fiji rocks are really frm Fiji....

Coral Farm is cheaper if my memory nv fail me... but when u calculate petrol.... u see for yourself....

Hi Guys,

Went pasir Ris yesterday, can't find much LR, all are small in size & seems like stock are very low. went to paradiz reef too. saw some big LR but are those very solid fill type. one piece think at least more than10 kg. last place went coralfarm. had alot of coral & LR. place is high tech but i guess the price should also be high.....! but still the LR are very nice. those who interested should pay a visit there. me still waiting for my new tank to come. hiopefully it will be here by next weekend.

hhmmm....

why does having coralline algae on the rocks makes it so much better?

<_<

maybe look nicer lor.

but with proper level of calcium, alkalinity and strontium some ordinary looking rocks sooner or later also can grow coralline algae and thrive.
