Ulcers in my throat, Anybody got this before????How should i cure it?? ITs killing me, whenever i eat, drink or even just my own slivalite,It hurts till i have an extracting headace....arg....what should i do??

i happen to experience such a throat infection before... thought it was a normal sore throat but it was persistent over a week.

The doctor told me it was caused by an virus spread by body fluids so see a doctor ASAP.

eat fruits with salt sprinkled on them... suck on strepsils like a baby... drink lots and lots of fluids.... and of course, see a doctor if it persists...

shine touchlight thru, make sure ur tongue doesnt get in the way for u to see thru the entrance of ur throat.

if u see ulcer or white lumps. get to a Doctor quick.

those can go real bad.

check ur temperature too, if u got fever together with this. then high chance it will be an infection.

my friend and I were victims before.

my friend who wasnt that lucky mistaken that as normal fever and soar throat, ended up in the hospital in the end.

when I had fever(38.6C! in the night) and very bad soar throat for more than 2 weeks. but luckily, I soon recovered after that

this are normally caused by weakling of immune system(tts wat I heard from the Doc). Did u had enough sleep recently? or staying up late? anyway theres alot of factors. the above are a few and most common reasons for those who got the infection.

could be cause by heatiness, the weather thses days sucks anyway.

gargle with saltwater (not from your tank eh ) Avoid heaty food, seafood and chicken cos they are bad for infection.

Go to NTUC/Econ minimart get the "3 leg brand" cooling drinks or pick up $10 worths of "leng Yong" Antelope horn stuff from chinese med shop to bring down the heat.

Ultimate is make a trip to Chinatown near Smith Street beside the hawker centre and get a potent herbal drink with add in powder.

to ease discomfort get the watermelon powder (brown color) from chinese med shop. Then have someone with a straw and blow into the throat.

Thats why I was not there at Iwarana shipment ytd.....i was almost wearing my shoes till the pain, stop me, and i did not went,nvm, i did rest...

Okie firstly, on tue night, i had a bad fever, ard 38-38.5 , duno why out of the blue moon sudddenly so sickish....so the following day , went to the doctor, i didnt knw i had this den , till i told the doc (i had slight sore throad) he use the torch ask me say "ah" and he say , hmm, infection with virus duno wad....he gave me lozengess or duno wad, some kind of ###### sweet which will numb yr throat,and 1 packet of panadol, the sweet suspose to be trice a day, i was so pain, that i finish it in a day...and went back to buy some more... now, before food, or when i wake up, i will take one..i am running low on them too already..

now , no fever, 35.6 just measured..

but the pain is just too...i can tell u , i feel like giving up, tml is my exams, i asked , if there is a jam to numb it totally...

i do and take all sorts of funny things provided by my dad and mum

i took strepsils (sweet) and even strepsils gargle for throat,fisherman friends

i drank lots of liquid

coke with salt

water

the medical shop, (black wan)-(luo han or wad la)

(ling yan) $5 each bottle

tonic with salt(till i jump)

i ate,barely

ma ti (water chestnut)

everything with liquid,

LUcch and dinner, soupy stuff....i am hunggry but the pain jus refrain me frm eaating...

i also ddi some monkey funny stuff like wad hotlemond said....

My mum did do the straw method with duno wad brown medicine...but just cant get better.....

add things with salt which will touch that part, MAkes me JUMPED

hey, the fever will strive back in the night. i know the pain man. the throat is killing me every second then and i got this during my exams too. sickening. anyway, just bear for a week, you will get well soon.
