again this is not my final setup....still need to make the hood n cabinet....

did some measurement on the pine n need to machine cut(when im free that is...)

so ladies n gentlemen, time for ur comments.....need to improve somemore....

any ideas?

i didnt see any powerheads in the tank

cant fix any :P the smallest in the market are all giant size compare to my pico tank...

anyway, from what my observation is,the small external overflow did the job quite nicely. theres seem some movement of tiny DOB in the water.

I think if u keep 2 small fishes and some shrimps should be ok lar...

maybe adding some tiny bumblebee snails too(hv u guys seem those lately at any LFS anywhere?) BUT strickly no fish. i dont think any fish could survive long in such a small tank unless somebody wants to DIY me a tiny skimmer. :D

Sump Tank: 28" x 14.5" x 12" (3 compartments)

Lightings: T5 HO - Hopar 3* 39w + ATI 2* 54w

Skimmer: Skimz Bullet Beckett

Chiller: Resun CL-650 (28 - 29 °C)

Wavemakers: 2* Seio M620 + 1* Hydor K2 (7100 litre / hr)

Fluidized Reactor: Skimz FR (currently empty)

Pumps: 1x Rio 32HF (Skimmer), 1x Rio 20HF (Return & Chiller)

Filtration: more than 80kg LRs, chaeto

Water Circulation: ~ 4000 litre / hr

Future Plans: additional wavemaker, DIY algae scrubber, DIY overflow box

Previously:

hey bro.. tt was exactly wad i wan to do for my diy nano tank.. nice.. haha.. but i will be using acrylic.. and will make a over flow box with sump.. haha.. btw.. urs is nice..

ha ha all the best bro :D possible if u plan for a nano but not for pico tank if u plan to make overflow wif sump but then again, anything if possible.

if u do a search in th RC, u will find a guy's pico that connected with a canister filter and MH..... :ooh:
