Hi,

I would like to DIY a tank hood for my 2ft tank made entirely out of acrylic.

May I know where can I get acrylic sheets and if possible the shop can help me cut the acrylic cheets to my desired dimensions and help me glue the pieces together.

As for the rest of the cutting (holes for fans etc) i can DIY.

Someone here mentioned Dana Enterprises where i can get acrylic. May I know the exact address of this shop?

Regards

You may even buy the acrylic glue from them and glue it yourself with a brush as it's not too difficult. They sell T4 and T5 lights too. (dama.com.sg).

The onli thing is the design of the hood to allow ventilation and ensure that there is no water splash into the hood too. For 2ft hood, ensure that your design will not warp after some time. Best is to buy a cheap PL light set and change it to T4 light tube inside.
