cleaned my sand today, removed all the "big stones"...

cleaned the algae off the glass,

didnt miss an inch..

and finally did WC...

tank looks more pleasing to the eye..

:wub::wub::wub:

feeling more positive now..

only problem left is,

some brown stuff still on my LRs..

hopefully it'll just go off over time..

great work kiko! Feel good right?

do regular maint and the brown stuff with go away soon.

remember to do minor maintenance regularly, this will draw you to look at the tank more and in return you will tend to notice more if the slightest thing goes wrong.

Let algae cover your tank and you dun feel like looking at it and start to neglect it and things start going wrong and ...... chicken and egg theory.

enough rumbling......

my pink RBTA split 2nights ago!!!!!!

transferred both into a floating QT..

currently recovering...

my only concern is,

since the floating QT is on the surface,

the LED lights might be too strong for them...

wrong fish!!! haha..

if you are wondering why the snails are on top,

it is because the frozen food floats,

so it floated to the top of the container,

and these snails managed to get to it!

impressed!

It is difficult if your neon is already established in your tank. They will fight very badly if they are of the same sex...

will i be able to tell if they can get along??

Hmmm.. That I not very sure... Normally I will buy two at a go and add together..

You can try... But seperate with a transparent divider first.. Den see if they fight when you release the divider..

I might be wrong, but the sex can roughly be differential by the body shape.. Slimmer one is a male and those stubby one is a female or vice verse... I cant remember liao... LOL..

HTH..

price wise is on the premium side...but heard good reviews from reefers in reefcentral.com....comycus has been using this brand for quite some time...he will definitely swear to u its good....

i have used oceanic also...personally, i felt oceanic is good enough for my livestocks as i dun keep SPS...so i dun really require a saltmix that gives me very high calcium and mag...
