Heard from Reborn that they will have Candy Basslet (Liopropoma carmabi) in their next shipment... :P

Oh sorry my fault and apologies for misleading all here. I had misinterpreted the 'sms' information received from a friend written as ""Irwarna new coral shipment came in this afternoon. Go, tonnes & lots of red pratas and hard

corals to choose for CNY"".

It should be :>

Irwarna new coral shipment (not sure what corals) came in this afternoon, and GO (golden octopus) has

tonnes & lots of red pratas and hard corals to choose for CNY.

Anyway was at 2 LCK farms few days ago and told shipments coming this week.

Corals Farm --- Auntie said Caribbean shipment coming in this Friday and fishes will be ready for sales on

Monday (1st Feb) --- usual expect will be Royal Gramma, Queen Angel etc .....

LCK201 ---- ORA shipment available on Saturday (30th Jan) morning and will have Neon Goby (Elacatinus ocenopus),

Yellowline Goby (Elacatinus randalli), Red Head Goby, Yellow Assessor etc .....................

Please call them to double confirm.

iwana have very nice colour yuma, tiger sponge and pink zoa. Hee very nice colour can go n see, price also quite reasonable. =)

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Hey...that's not even close to being the most expensive fish in that shipment. Anyway, next week carribean fish shipment from Reborn will have the following:

1) liopropoma carmabi (candy basslet) - 130 RED Notes

2) liopogramma klayi - 400 RED Notes

Others: queen,king,cortex,rockbeauty,townsend,french,peppermint shrimp,emerald, etc

Yeah, they are moving towards bringing in the rare fishes now...create a niche market for themselves... :whistle

Thay are also looking at bringing in rare and seldom seen corals like the Aussie Spider Sponge. :upsidedown:

Although the bicolor basslet may look just like a small and slightly paler royal gramma (and it really looks a lot like it superficially), this Lipogramma species is very rarely seen as it lives at depths of over 200 feet or 80 meters. In addition to having a purple-faced yellow body, the bicolor Lipogramma has a few scattered purple spots along the body, greatly elongated pelvic fins and a strong lyretail which gives this fish more a fairy like appearance than the similar royal gramma.

But it is very delicate... and even extremely rare in US and Japan... Will require a deepwater tank to keep it with low temperature...
