Less flow ?

Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Hmmm.. i guess its high flow as mine is being quite blasted by wp40 lololol

Just changed my phos remover. Got the job done within 6min. Shiok!

Took a picture of exhausted media and not exhausted.

Loving the ultraphos, cleared away lots of algae on sandbed and rocks, about 95%! And i mean alot of them gone and vanished. Can never see this kind of results with rowaphos. very powerful stuffs.

My review :

Pros :

-cheaper than rowa / po4x4

-No rinsing

-know when it will be exhausted.

-cleared my algae problem.

-much stronger in removing po4

-no leeaching out lots of iron like rowaphos which can fuel algae and stuffs.

Cons : cant think of any lol.

200grams for my 320litre nett With flow about 200-300l/hr

On my first time using, lasted only 10days. On the 3rd day using , those green algae on sandbed reduced by about 95% as well as rocks.

LAsted so short first time is very normal, after 3rd-4th changes , will last 1month++ .

Will last even longer if using activated carbon. Still waiting for my carb L since no stock.

also, Lights will only come 2 week later since delighting said need 2 weeks time for the lights to be ready. haha sian

Too drastic use of rowa or ultra phos can have ill effect on your sps. So do be careful. In short, a sudden sharp nutrient drop, be it chemical or biological means, can result in a crash!

So tread carefully.

Yes im aware of that , thats why flow is so low haha. Those trying out should take note too! Fauna marin stated that in extreme low po4 and nitrate , ultraphos should not be use. Alternatively can use ultra powerphos 0.04 which is what i wanted to buy at first but iwarna no stock till june .

Oh no! I was ready to jump in the wagon for HM ultraphos until you mentioned it shouldn't be use in ULNS tanks =(

Was reading up on ultra phos 0.04, it did say it will bring it down not lower than 0.00. Wonder what is the difference. So using the normal HM ultraphos can drop the value right down to 0?

Ultraphos, ultraphos 0.04 and ultra power phos! So many types! Why don't they just release ultraphos 0.04 since its same price as everything else. Is it just the different material used?

Haha bro, theres only 2 types.

Ultraphod and ultra powerpbos 0.04

Output of ultraphos i believe is 0 while output of ultrapowerphos 0.04 is 0.04ppm.

It wont go below 0.04ppm. So its in the safe range u see. Dont have to worry the level from being too low.

Thanks bro, don't know why their website has 3 different products. Ultra Phos 0,04 1000ml, Ultra Phos 1000ml, Ultra Power Phos 1000ml So from what i understand, its best to just use ultraphos 0.04 since they are all priced the same? Guess i'll patiently wait since i still have some rowaphos  I like the fact i dont have the rinse before use, and i can tell when its exhausted, those are like 2 headaches when using rowa or any phosphate remover products.
