Bro, good work on the scape. Just some suggestion for your considerations; you can try grow some gsp on the return pvc pipe And add a huge staghorn in front of your wavemaker to help conceal the equipments.

Wah you guys very high tech leh. But damn cool. What monitoring system is that? Does it measure the kH, Ca & Mh periodically or still need to self input data after water test?

Haha bro James I also wished it can auto monitor and test my water. It's just a very useful app, still have to manual input after testing. Here some other features. Scariest one is expenses, i seriously shock when i started counting my expense. I always key in what I buy. This not even the full amount, those stuff I bought last time didn't key. This just 2.5ft tank over 5 months, I don't know how those big boys handle.

I feel you bro. The constant monitoring and high expenses is making me worried. This is really a time consuming and expensive hobby. It's like a bottomless pit and I hope it all pays off in the end. It's not like property where we can sell everything off at an appreciating price.

Made me wonder, worth chasing all these number and making it perfect?? With the time, effort and $$$ spent. Lol, pre-decomm symptoms...

Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

at the start it is important to hit those numbers and maintain it especially if you want to start a SPS tank. But once you hit the sweet spot in doisng, nutrient export etc you wont need to monitor so often. Just let it run and monitor every few weeks. starting up is usually the most expensive and most tedious process.

Yup. It's not about chasing the nos bro. If im putting in couple hundred worth of coral. I think I need to be Abit more diligent with the monitoring. Secondly, it's a Nano tank bro, I have to test more often than the big tanks. Once parameters have stabilised, I intend to only test twice a week.
