SRC Supporter Joe_P Posted June 18, 2020 Author SRC Supporter Share Posted June 18, 2020 Here's a rough drawing of the future sump. Any advise for improvement will be appreciated. Red : Water from display/refugium. Compartment will hold filter bags housing Seachem matrix/denitrate. Orange : Water flow to Skimmer compartment Yellow : Flow through baffle plates which will house some media. Green : Chiller coil compartment. Blue : Reservoir compartment. Looking to using Maxspect Nanospheres within the baffle plate compartment. Any other media to recommend?

Need some advice here, how do you tell the difference between Frogspawn and True Octos and can these be placed with hammers or torch corals? True Octos are lumi green colors. Different between OCTOS and Frog Spawn: OCTOS doesn't have splits tips at the steam where else frog spawn they have split tips. Both of the type mention above can't go with torch.
