What maybe you can like me is to do is to drill more small hole in between the replica rock to increase flow in between the rocks.

Will the hollow rocks cause detritus build up if u drill them?

the purpose of drilling more holes is to promote more flow into the internal hollow portion and reduce the chance of detritus build up

Yes that's right! Once in the water, you can't actually notice the hole at all.

Maybe im thinking of it the other way around, where if u drill holes, higher chance for dentritus to get in but not out once it settles to the base of the hollow rock.

My thinking is more holes for detritus to get out. Didn't really think of them settling into the base. Not sure if say seal up all the holes will be better, they feel heavy. So should sink without issue
