Bedok area blackout!

From my balcony..I notice the bedok south area in total darkness. Not sure if bedok north is affected. Let's just hope the power is restored soon. Lucky my place not affected... :pinch:

CTE is blacked out from Braddel to AMK.

Sengkang is blacked out too from my friend.

Across the street, Bishan is blacked out too.

My area's untouched.

Sengkang partially restored....my block is back with power....

but the blocks across the road are still in darkness....

traffic lights all down...

i was in hougang when the blackout occured...came home by taking all the main roads so that i get priority to cross at junctions....even though it meant a slightly longer distance

came back to see my UPS in action and taking away one bar of battery off 5 bars of energy stored....

i was telling my gf in the car along the way back where headlamps of cars around us are the lights we see....

Heard from the news that blackout caused by disruption in gas supply from Indonesia.

Most Singapore affected but power slowly being restored.

That's BS! :blink:

There should be enough gas supplies in Singapore to ensure the power station generators are running for at least a few days.

Are we that dependant on regular gas supplies that a turn of the gas tap and the economy of Singapore grinds to a halt? :erm:

Currently, what I gather, Clementi, Jurong East and West also blckout... But very funny, I stay at jurong west st 81, can see the few blocks in front all blackout but on my side are all ok...

U should see. Only my block lites up in my area juz now. :lol:
