Hi all speeder...

Just got an sms from a reefer that the TP is using a Hyundai SFB 5123 along the expressways installed with speed camera these few days.......Please beware.....

Sigh! these morning I was speeding like a snake around PIE, CTE & AYE.....Shit!!! Keeping my finger crossed!!!

I think it's bullshit. I rec'd a sms from my bil yesterday saying TP is using a Suzuki motorbike, not to speed on expressway and to pass on the sms. I think someone posted the same info on the ClubHyundai forum too.

TP will use proper fast cars that are safe at very high speed instead of a hyundai. There is an undercover Volvo though. It's white. Seen it in action.

Hey I also saw tat White Volvo in Orchard Rd some time ago , the driver forgotton to remove the stickable Siren Light on the top , its a old model volvo

this is my advice - don't speed, especially in Singapore. Not worth the time difference.

i drove from my in-laws in woodlands back to my home in katong. speed along BKE into PIE and then home. average speed on expressways definitely over 100 kmph, at times going over 120.

my daughter, who then just gotten her driving licence, was driving with "P" plate. she left woodlands together with me, but in her own car. i warned her, with my wife in the car, that she is not to drive over 80.

guess what ? she reached home within three minutes of me. and she was not even speeding, as confirmed by my wife.

moral of the story .... don't speed. the time saved (deemed benefit) is not worth the costs (stress, possible speeding ticket, and worse with accident).

safety first .... its not just you, but others as well that can be affected by your driving.

If I drive fast it will not be because I want to save time, it will be because I think it's fun to do so but more sensibly, it's so normal for the car to slowly creep to 120 km/h on the expressway. It's very difficult to keep to <100 km/h because that will mean I have to constantly watch the speedo and feather the trottle. UK speed limit of 70 mph (112 km/h) is just about right.

BTW, speeding is bad for health.

I exceed the speed limit but do not speed or drive recklessly.

Likely is that they are escorting someone...and this civic just ignore and overtake!

btw, the portable speed camera is regularly in action at the Lornie Road, toward Adam Roads...during peak hours!

BMW 530 previous model white color mounted with Speed Camera is still visible on SLE toward to BKE in morning section.

TP is still using boths.

Was told they r looking into white Audi A4 3L. Same one as Army officer using.

I have seen a White Volvo in action at AYE before...not sure what model and license plate....but it sure has no markings or whatsoever....
