SRC Member seamonkee Posted March 9, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted March 9, 2005 Sunshine Chromis in LCK110? Is this the one? I am looking for fishes to swim at the upper tier of my tank... If this is truly a chromis... then I may take the trouble and go down... but then again, it looks more like a damsel leh.... What do u guys think? SRC Member neokn Posted March 9, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted March 9, 2005 im looking for palm sized pink tipped elegance.. other than AA pls help me keep a lookout.. thanks guys.. LCK110 have some pink elegance. seamonkee: Chromis, clownfish and damsel belongs to the same family (Pomacentridae) thus explain the lookalike. Thanks for pointing out... I know that all along.... The interesting thing is that damsels are more territorial as compared to our usual green chromis... I was wondering if this fish is truly a peaceful Chromis as claimed just like the green chromis.... because this picture says "Dun mess with me or I bite ur #*#_@@ fin" damsel look... And yeah, this is the only picture I found on the web... there is not much info on this fish though...' I think better dun risk it...
SRC Member neokn Posted March 9, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted March 9, 2005 Well so act clever of me. (Definitely, didn't pass my english during Os) I find that no matters what fish you buy they will turn territorial one day, so to me it doesn't matters as long as they don't do too much damage to the other fish/ corals. SRC Member neokn Posted March 9, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted March 9, 2005 seamonkee: Do you like this fish? Coz these is what it'll look like when it grows up. Else forget it. Search by the name of Chromis insolata aka Sunshinefish excluding the chromis and you can find all you need to know of this fish.

No prob, bro. No hard feeling. Anyway, I don't really like to eat fish (That explains why I'm so so dumb) so I wouldn't know which fish looks like that. But I definitely have a good laugh when I see that statement.
