I off mine at 10pm and turn it on at 10am

I only on it for aestatic reason. Looking at the luminous corals. :)

So what I do is to on it 1 hour before the MH light come on, and once the MH light come on, I will off the actinic. After that, before the MH light turned off 8 hours later, the actinic is on again, and last one hour after the main MH is off.

This is because since I'm using 14k bulb, I don't need the actinic for supplement.

My lighting routine is as follows:

9am-1pm actinic on

1pm-9pm MH on

9pm-12am actinic on

300 Gallon Reef Paradise

6X2.5X2.5 FT Tank : 4x2x2 ft sump : 2x1x2 ft refugim

Skimmer: Deltec AP851

Calcium Reactor:

Lightings: Aqualight T5 Retrofit, 150 watt MH X2

Chiller: Hailea HC-500A model w/ Aquabee 2000

Ozonizer: Hailea HLO-300 Digital ozonizer

Wavemaker: Tunze 6080, Tunze 6060

Return Pumps: Aquabee 5000 x2

Other equipments: Aquabee 2000, Quietone 1200, 5L Co2 Cylinder w/ Dupla regulator
