This is what i usually do:

New zoos

- flush with fresh water-easier but heard before it may affect zoo health/color

- use lugol dip (more troublesome but definitely easier on the zoo-not so stressful)

In the tank

-maintain good stable water parameters

-maintain a good flow around the zoos

-Give them good lights (for myself 150W MH x2, US folks can push it to 400W :yeah: )

-Blast GP, mysis, vitamin mix....at them once a week.... :evil:

Jus what i practised..... :lol:

wow..icee..with all this steps taken,thats why your zoos are surberb :P Thanks for sharing..

Yeah,heard that Dipping in FW will lose colourations..

Wad brand of vitamin mix u use for yr zoos? :)

For me,

I blast them with 250watts MH ( 9Hrs)

Dip in FW regulary

Not enough flow,*this is wad i think* too strong,cant open.. :(

**P/s** just got a small Rock of zoos recently and half open up nively , the other 1/2 open partially , why is this so??** :thanks:

I just get some water from the tank, mix in vitachem, AA, mysis , GP, cyclopeze.....chapalan.. :P , use a turkey blaster and blast the sps, zoos, lps at night when the lights goes off........only once every week....

some zoos may be too stressed and takes time for them to fully open up.... :)

will it tekan the other corals like lps???

for me, i place them in places that can receive the most light.

water flow is moderate to fast .. i do have zoos that are in direct line

of the tunze blast and they still open up :P

as for food, i feed

- twice a day with ML frozen food, cyclopese

- DT 3x a week

- Kent VitC, Zoe and Zelcon (mix with food) 2x a week

- some other steriods that suppose to stimulate coral growth :evil:

For me, I just make sure the zoos do not carry any nudis and place it in my tank

Somehow they just grow like crazy after that :P
