Tiny Frog Fish

Hi,

I have in my possession a tiny frog fish, around the size of a thumb nail. Currently I am feeding the little fella live brine shrimps. I understand that brine shrimps are not very nutritious. So is there anything else I can feed the little fella? I believe frog fish do not take to pellets or frozen food. But it is very difficult to find live food for a fish that small.

Advice please.

:thanks::bow::thanks:

Can always call them to make sure... or maybe frozen mysis...

I tried, even waving it in front of the little fella. No response. Did that too with the bigger one in the office. Never even take a look at them. There was once when one of my colleagues took a flying fox from the planted tank and dump it in the marine tank (I know... they are a bunch of sick bastards). The frog fish immediately took notice and started to hunt the flying fox, which was by the way 2 times bigger than the frog fish. We all had the shock of our lives when the frog fish snapped at the flying fox. Because the prey was too big, you see this frog fish with half of a fish sticking out of its mouth...

:shock::shock::shock:

Now we are using small mollies for its food...

i have a 1" frog fish too i have put it into a small betta box inside my tank and put a damsel of the same size with him guess what he just sallow it and a frog fish can eat a prey that is 1.5 times of his size. now my frogfish is let out into the tank and he began to hunt his prey when the light is off. try to get many damsel and put into the tank with him he will eat them. good luck
