SO...I recently had to decommission my 2 year old 4 footer to accomodate the new baby. His cot is where my tank used to be. When in the final stages of the decomm, I had a sudden thought. Why not keep some of my old and prized LS in a nano tank? I started searching for a suitable tank, and the only setup I could find was the ELOS system mini marine 75, displayed by Henry@MarineLife. That was before DELightings came out with his version.

Anyway, long story short, here are some pictures of the new 6 week old setup at home...Not the baby cot...

sweeeeee!

Yo brudders...Found it really really difficult to leave! Leaves a void in my daily routine!

And really, a nano is just as captivating and interesting as a 4 ft tank is to play with :D

Yup, Japanese drink bottles. Not Kalk drip, but I'm slow dripping Seachem Reef builder (KH) and Calcium over 2-3 days. Cheap way of maintaining a relatively stable Ca and KH. I still dose Grotech A,B,C and M and Aquapharm Iodine.

That skimmer is wonderful...Took some time to break in and setup. But man...the skimmate is amazing...I can almost drink the Kopi every morning!

Will update this thread with pictures slowly...It's got some time to go before maturing!

Thank you! Necessity is the mother of invention...Nothing out there quite fit the lighting requirements of my setup...so I had to go it alone!

Nanos are great fun too!
