Like a little kid, i am curious to see all shape of pipe and joint. Even my house doesn't have that many...

FIP, VDL and +GF+ piping for all the tank piping. I must say the material is really solid with nice smooth surface. It is quite thick too.

FIP - made in Italy?

VDL - made in German?

+GF+ - made in Switzerland?

Big check valve (FIP)... you don't even want to know the price. (>_<)

Working table or messy dinning table?

Eheim Universal pump 1264. Rated 4500l and can be installed in/out of sump. Hope not too powerful for my tank... it is heavy and excellent built quality. It is Eheim ^_^

Check valve don't work. I know, installed the GF ones before. All you need is to drill a hole in your return pipe somewhere near the output that will break the siphon and prevent water from going down to the sump that way.

Portable refractometer. The grid is extremely fine. Not sure how I will be able to get accurate reading through the scope :?

5981103467_3f4a2d8e00.jpg

D-D H2Ocean test kit. From bottom to top > Multi test kit (Mg,Ca,KH) > Phosphate > Nitrate

Open box - multi test kit. No idea how to use it yet.

User manual. Looks like easy to understand but I didn't go through it yet.

A nice & interesting thread!

Correct me if i am wrong but an aqua technic tank in singapore cost at least 3-4 times of what you paid.

more pics pls and update us on the D&D test kit.

tempted to get one too.

Dry scape. I still need a couple more rocks. Rocks hunting this coming weekend.

Top shot.

More stuff... Liquid bacteria + bacteria food. ROWA carbon for my fluidized reactor.

New toys. Tunze Multicontroller 7096 + Tunze Nanostreame 6055 (planning to use 2 in my tank). The packaging is very modest, nothing fancy and I cannot seem to find any manual. The only paper inside is the one with "warning" for strong magnet.

The wave-maker holder comes with rubber to absorb vibration. Brilliant design.

Top shot - blue rubber.

Position in my tank. Didn't like Tunze design at first but after putting in the tank, I find that it is alright.

Hi! I love your tank so much! And I'm very interested to know about what jackwongto asked. And if its truth why does it cost so much in Singapore?

poorman - thats the challenging task. Rock scape cannot be too high too else no room for corals placement. Will create some cave for fishes to hide and more open space. I don't want to clutter it with too many stuff inside (temptation very high whenever i see nice corals)

Dude,

The D-D test kit is very accurate, but the KH color change is a bit tricky. Others is just simple and easy to used. I also using the DD test kit for about 2 months, quite happy with it. BTW congratulate to your new setup, new nice setup.

Eddy Lim - Thanks for the compliment. As for the test kit, I have gotten Hanna phosphorous checker which will be use to counter check D-D P04 checker.

About 40-50kg or rocks. Nothing fancy because I wanted something simple.

Never scape marine tank before but I am quite satisfied with the result. Totally different from planted tank because placement of corals on the rocks have to be taken into consideration.

Still pending for minor plumbing modification. Durso piping is too noisy for me. I am going to modified it to Herbie style.

Hope you guys dont get bored with the slow update. I need to wait for some of the stuff to arrive.
