SRC Member william_choo Posted September 22, 2011 Author SRC Member Share Posted September 22, 2011 LS open up nicely... also wana get some LPS but lazy to target feed can advise how you feed them? no fish? Bro,I only pour in brine shrimps and 5 in 1 coral food weekly,to avoid ammonia spike as nano tank water perimeter is very unstable if care is not taken.I also off the skimmer only during feeding time.as for the wave maker,I will switch on and off every 10 min,so that the food can pass around to reach the corals. As for fish, still thinking of wat to get!!! I will take Into consideration, that if a fish will to die, there is no way I can take out, because my tank is heavily stock up with corals and rocks.this can also cause ammonina spike too. SRC Member allantang Posted September 26, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted September 26, 2011 depends on what kind of crab is it... if is emerald crab.. it benefits ur tank. so no point removing it. if is not reef safe.. just set a trap. sherman
Your light is 15 watt per set. Each set has 7 LEDs.So they are using 3 watt LED. Look like there is no lens attached to the LED, right? Your tank is 18 inch high .Keepng LPS should be no problem but SPS is tough.Unless you keep them near to the top 3 inch of your tank. Why you chose 2 Red for your light? I think one is more then enough. Anyway nice setup.
