Avoid damsel as u got many tame and shy fishes. My opinion. Wrasse may be another choice. Cardinal bangai.

Most fairy wrasse r tame. Bicolor dottyback can be quite aggressive.

Get a small flame angel n yellow tang..

Wrasse are not aggressive depend on species..they are good in picking on worms in ur LR n sand..

Powder series tang r prone to ich..yellow tang won't n its quite a Hardy fish with vibrant colour..

Mandarin is difficult to keep because of its diet..need a lot of pods in tank to feed on..

U need a mature tank for mandarin. Yellow tang can help to trim off algae. Else you can put in the hector goby.

Tank is too small for a tang, they need to roam and move or they will not be happy. Mandarins are difficult to feed because they only like to eat live, small prey. If you find one that eats pellets then you need to feed that one in a special manner to ensure it's eating. High maintenance. I think your tank looks fine the way it is. You can go with soft corals. If you get stronger lighting and micro-manage water quality, can start thinking about more demanding corals.

Soft coral will melt if temperature too high.

While anemone requires a mature tank to thrive. Also anemone could be potential hazard due to getting shred by wavemaker unless you know what to do and take necessary precaution one it.

For nano tank, water parameter not easy to maintain so go for limited number of nano fishes only.
