might want to remove its i dont know much about sponges might want to ask some with exp with sponges

but if i remember sponges are toxic when they die ....

remove the dying sponge & also frag off ya 'melting' frogspawn branch before it spreads...

blue sponge is not easy to keep

they have a special demand of food

best leave them alone in the wild

I suggest you find the root of your problem first. Your water parameter? Frogspawn are easy to keep. with moderate flow and lights. Basic water parameters must be there.

Reefaholic, water condition is okay only the nitrite raise to 0.25. maybe due to dying of shrimp and fish.

Should saw away the branch and throw away the dead sponge, they will affect the quality of your water further....

what i would do is remove the sponge and do water change... 20percent..

Have you tank gone through the ANN cycle stage (~ 1 month) before your started adding coral and fish? Are you add them in short period of time so that your tank can't cope with the sudden increase of bioload.

ur mushies are stinging ur zoos. and ur water parameters might be inappropriate, or mabe u stock up too fast. Do understand the characteristics of the corals b4 purchasing. No flaming intended.

got a doctor fish, 5 cheap chromis and a pink feather from ML. However when reach release the fishes found one of the chromis tail is torn

got a pair of clownfish, a green feather, an alage blenny, 2 peppermint shrimp and 1 cleaner shrimp from jireh jus now. the blenny and 2 peppershrimp MIA after release into the tank.
