Sps pics

post-5641-1236617918.jpg

When I first bought this, it was green. Past couple of months, the growth tips are purple

Birdnest frag from Bro Thomas. Think it must have doubled its size.

Color of the monti at the back seems to be improving. As for the brown off digi is starting to have some blue tips.

Think the frag had more than tripled. Soon it is catching up with my home colony.. better stop fragging liao.. :P

The purple monti colour is getting better than the last time i seen it. Nutrient must have come down a fair bit. ;)

Not sure if it's the de-nirator taking effect, or the scrubber, or increase dosage of vit c. Probably a bit of everything. :)

I would believe it is the de-nitrator and scrubber effect. I doubt vit C had much impact on SPS colouring if nutrient stay high.

Bro Peace, your green ones are growing well. :thanks:

That's great! I'm fortunate to pick up this piece. Its actually a very healthy specimen. I know because my frags have gone through "thick & thin", and have continued to survive. :heh:

can reserve a frag of darth maul for me too if you start fragging that colony please??? :thanks:

Will let u know. At the moment, still monitoring it. Used to a rock full of it, but dwindled to almost nothing. Hope I can find a good spot for it to grow into it's former glory. <_<
