from CF..

decide to try it for the 3rd time..

first 2 times failed after Day1,

this guy seem to be doing well..

at least it didnt disappear..

today's the 4th day,

it comes out faithfully at around 12pm everyday :)

dont know whats wrong with me..

when i saw them the first time at CF,

i didnt get it..

after i went home, kept thinking about it,

went to another reefer's place and saw 7 of them in 1 tank,

i HAD to get one for myself.. lol..

also from CF..

didnt want to get initially,

but blue tang is my gf's favourite fish..

so yea, to reduce the "nagging" on me spending so much on this hobby,

i got him to "pacify" her.. :P

got the last one from iwarna's latest shipment...

hope this one behaves...

so far so good..

this is my 3rd flame, and i had no problems with my 1st flame.. (gone when my tank crashed last year)

the 2nd one feasted on my golden cloves, had to let it go...

IMO, i feel that they're still reef safe :)

found this behaviour rather interesting..

newly introduced blue tang swam along together with my pair of clownfish the whole day!

i had to take this video before the lights go out...

wont the female clown find it irritating? LOL

i name the video: the 3rd party

pardon the blue lights,

video taken before lights off..

OH.... NICE BLUE ZOAS...

thanks bro...

Kiko, is that pair of Black Clowns the one u got from RB, the ones that I recommended? If yes, WOW! they've grown alot and doing super well!

yupp... the pair that you chose for me! haha...

just a week ago they were showing signs of mating..

like doing the "mating dance" or smth, male was cleaning a particular spot on the overflow box..

got me excited for a few days..

in the end, no sign of any eggs.. lol..

G.O. or Iwarna brings them in from time to time. 1 blue to 2 blue notes depending on color and stock. Nice tank btw, love the balance of colors.

the left one i've seen a few times at GO, price wise not too sure though :poster_oops::)

thanks guys..

will continue to keep a look out for them...

i find that they are not fussy about lighting and can tolerate both strong and weaker lighting.

i have mine near the top under 4x24w T5 and they seem to be happy there. other reefers have successfully kept them on the sand bed using T5 and still find them doing well.

you could probably get away with a spot that you choose for them to your liking :)

:chair: :chair: :chair:

They are meant to be on the sandbed... But they should be okay with being on the rocks.. They dun really need very high lights... T5s should do fine for them...
