  5. your top right rock seems alittle wobbly.. hahaha
  6. i wun really recommend canister filter as it will be troublesome to clean... you have to change your filter wool on average 2 times a month and your media about once a month (depends on various factors) a sump allow you to have easy access and the huge plus point is the larger water volumn... sump tank is not expensive... the equipments are! lol.. nonetheless its your decision, its not that you cannot use canister but base on personal experience, i dont prefer a canister... Happy Reefing!

  11. business.. i'm all covered just wondering if i should print bank statement or not..
  12. lcf425.. very simple... when you glue a rock of coral onto another rock out of your tank.. once you've applied the superglue / gel and stick them together, dip them into a container of your tank water.. this helps the glue to harden up fast...
  13. so i should get back statement or letter of employment can already?
  14. gluing will not work for rics.. they will still detach themselves..

  17. Guys, this is one of the requirements for Visa waiver for travel to USA.. The question is how to demonstrate sufficient funds to support myself??? □ Is the purpose of your stay in the United States 90 days or less for tourism or business and can you demonstrate sufficient funds to support yourself? (Note: Travel for media/journalists, students, or employment is not permitted on VWP.) Transit through the United States is generally permitted. If in doubt, check with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
  18. sure! Good luck! If they give the green light make sure you do a nice tank so that next time they will sponser you a bigger tank!! hahaha
  19. Live sand - 10 KG should be enough Live rocks - you can get it at most LFS.. how much? - depends on your scaping Lightings - suggest you to get 2 x 15watt corals - good choice to start with these 2 first and try others once your corals are doing well and you think you can take a step further hermit crab - not really recommended unless you place a few empty snail shells around in your tank so that it can change shells.. wavemaker - try K nano http://aquamarin.com.sg/productsDetail.asp?productid=862
  20. erm.... depends on what you buy.. but i dun think they do.. can always ask them when u visit them.. =]
  21. most inverts are sensitive to copper based medication.. thats why we always recommend reefers to check and solve the main source of the problem... CUC are used to control the growth of algae or clear those uneaten food left by the fishes... not too sure about the toxic but i belive it will contaminate the whole tank... (never kept urchins before)
  22. lazy say lazy la... lol.. anyway would suggest you to do a 20 - 30% WC.. =]
  23. you can have medias, cheatoes, algae scrubber, pumps ( For return, chiller, FR, denitrator, CR, etc..), LR, DSB, etc... its really a matter of choice... =] check out lemon's sump.. he've planned it very well..
