SRC Member Evolutionz Posted June 28, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted June 28, 2014 updates: Been about a week since i added a 2-tube T5 to the system. i wanted a retrofit since they come with individual reflectors but due to family issue (they find them ugly!!) i have to get a slimmer and nicer looking fixture. its a aquazonic 2x24w T5HO, running a D-D giesemann Actinic+ & an ATI coral plus tube. probably will have to replace every 6-7 months. mounted and hanged together with my Razor. http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/DSC06727_zps56be64de.jpg.html'> ssc http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/DSC06698_zps69acbe95.jpg.html'> miyagi tort http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/DSC06702_zps0d7ce3d3.jpg.html'> cleaner wrasse, eating very well on frozen as well as my hand! http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/DSC06731_zps5d4971ed.jpg.html'> my trio of dispar antias http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/DSC06735_zpsa77f7773.jpg.html'> end this update with a FTS. http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/DSC06719_zps68538e91.jpg.html'> thanks for viewing! SRC Member peacemaker Posted June 30, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted June 30, 2014 Mind if I asked, what made you decide to supplement the Razor with T5s?
SRC Member Evolutionz Posted July 1, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted July 1, 2014 I've always supported the idea of led + t5 hybrid. Its probably the best lighting system available. Though i do get good colors with the razor. I want to see if there will be even more improvment with the addition of t5s.
