New Thread With New Tank

Was deciding whether to continue reefing as most of time at oversea. Happen to saw reefer poto scape and reignite my passion again!!!

So decided to takeover my buddy ah lee tank as he was decomming.

My tank before decommissioning

so the real works began with tearing down the tank on 31th may.. and my old tank was given to another reefer on the 1st june

tank was taken away..

so empty!! cant imagine life without marine!!!

As this period was having aquarama event. So thanks to victor for helping to arrange for topping up of water and salt mix..

Also thanks 2 reefers for lending me their blue tube for me to hold the live rocks and livestocks..

Let it filled with water!!!

This time round going for more simple setup.. put a lot of baterical king and marinepure to cultivate baterical.

Also during this time lose over 90% of corals.. sps, pratas....

And my fav AT up lorry in holding tube.... :cry2:

did up the scape...

also using 0 and 1 grade sand bottom left for seafan and bottom right for anemone..

not going to fill up the sandbed as wanted to achieve the clean loioks..

hopefully can do it...lol

holding tube was having too many casualty so no choice have to put in all livestock inside the tank on the 2nd day..

And this time round using 8 tubs of T5 instead of MH...

yes boss now he just keep a 2ft shallow tank...

thanks bro, the middle pillar use 3 big rocks, while the arm I use some big tonga rocks.

I use acrylic rods for the arm extension as support underneath.

total height for the scape is 2ft

hi bro attached is the underneath photo of the rocks..i use cable tie and 15mm acrylic rods for base support

actually I just spent a few hours doing the scape.. just have to get the right rocks and assembly like lego...
