Why do you want to downgrade? If I have the space and time, I would surely go for a larger tank :)

You might get bored with nano pretty fast.

That's the thing, no time. Big tank need big equipments and big water change, v laborous.

I've long to keep a nano tank of deepwater concept and crytic fishes and some easier non photosynthetic corals. It's a tank i haven't try b4 and sounds v interesting.

Has anyone tried going BB and using gsp to lay the ground on the base?

Is this workable?

Imagine when the star polyps all open up.... the whole tank floor will be luminous green......

possible? possible? :idea::yeah::yeah::yeah:

the tank is absolutely amazing!

Looking at the different variation of corals we have, i think it will make sense to have multiple nano tanks, each of different themes. All link back to a shared sump.

Now, that's coooool.

Seems like Jacky would be the bes person to try this concept here.

2 tanks of 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 with different themes.

Jacky: how? Inspired?

Hi all, thanks for all the info & encouragement. GSP flooring it is then.

Peacemaker, thanks for the pics from NR. Something different. interesting. Have not updated my thread there for "years".

WIlson, Next tank will definitely be a linked tank but not so sure of the size and date yet.

I do not want to spend too much on replacing eqpt.

Kiko, Rics flooring is too expensive liao. Looks like you are really poisoned already. I just want to keep a few pieces - maybe 8 and see how it does.
