I happened to have only 1 x Super sun head. Small one, kinda approx 4mm in Diamter.

What;s left only the rock with orange base....nothing else...

I m suspecting, culprit = Green wrasse or Copperband

hmm ... orange base ? not a closed head ? i had one baby super die before (about 3-4mm head), and i still see the skeleton after the orange skin melted.

had the same problem before, that's why i let go of my flagfin angel, because it was nipping my supers.

OMG, How dumb can I get!!! I might have found the problem why, I kept feeding but sun coral still receded.. Becos I squirted them with food mixed in Freshwater instead of tank water... It might be the problem...

NPS is definitely harder.

for this much feeding, the nutrients must be very low! which is super difficult to achieve.

SPS is different. no need to feed. so easy to keep nutrients low.

Hmmm but they are not very particular about water parameter... LOL... SO other than the nutrient level, bascially is the feeding that cause them to be difficult..

That is the worst thing that can happen in reefing :( . Most likely need to take everything out, drain, silicon it for a day to dry before anything can be added again. Maybe a good opportunity as well now to rescape your tank :P

Need any help just let me know.
