Marko83
Very nice colours. Can share what type of system you running for eg. Zeovit, biopellets Hi ClementC and thank you! I don't use bacterial reproduction systems because i've 12cm Deep Sand Bed. This system is enough for going on my tank. A right fishes population and an oversized skimmer give me an balanced system. I feeding only my fish, and never my corals.

Marko83
Nice tank!Which specific equipment do you hook up to your UPS? Thank You subzerolt, My ups work on just one Vortech, one router, one netbook. I can control it with Teamviewer from Smartphone if all is ok. Last year i was without energy for 14 hours, i don't had ups yet, luckly the outside temperature was the same of water, i've carry on my tank moving water manually....was enough! No deads. So i think that is sufficient 1 propeller pump for more times possible.
SRC Member asg Posted October 10, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted October 10, 2014 Nice tank there and good selection of corals. Might be a silly question, but may i know what are the most popular Activated carbon/ Resin for NO3/ PO4? also, in term of fish food? Quote 子非鱼,焉知鱼之乐... (you are not the fish so you...) Might be a silly question, but may i know what are the most popular Activated carbon/ Resin for NO3/ PO4? also, in term of fish food? Hi Andtsg, Most populars activated carbon are Equo (http://www.equoitaly.com/ ), Acquaristica ( http://www.aquaristica.it/index.asp ), Korallen Zucht (http://www.korallen-zucht.de/) And the most popular Resin for po4 is Rowaphos, no doubt! I prefere use Activated Carbon occasionally and i prefer never use Resin for po4... only extraordinarily in case of problems, new rocks layout, etc... i prefer don't get over with nutrients and let remove it only by skimmer and bacterial colony without external support. Deep Sand Bed help me so much to carry on a low cost maintenance. It thinks to all.

Agreed that DSB was effective but just dont keep any LS that will stir the DSB, there are horror tank crash story abour the consequence man. Quote 子非鱼,焉知鱼之乐... (you are not the fish so you...)
