K_Gokiburi
Hi guys, I recently decommed my Fluval Edge from here: Picked up an ADA 60-P and Pharos LED from Fresh'nMarine and basically ported everything over Shift house loh! Got myself an MP10 early this year I also put in a sump this time After one entire day of shifting to the new tank

reef garden
Bro, it's a nice and simple setup now. I love the Pharos LED. I'm sure you would be adding some stuff sometime soon? Where did you get your Esshops nano overflow box? Is it working well? Any bubbles problem? Where did you get your Esshops nano overflow box? Is it working well? Any bubbles problem? Yup, will be adding stuff over time I got my Eshopps overflow from ebay; It works so well to the point where the huge flow of water causes a noise problem. It also sucks in a fair bit of bubbles, but I've built a bubble trap in my sump so it doesn't get sucked back into the tank. However, I think I might probably switch to Mame Overflow in future And yes I'm really digging the Pharos LED :D

Kayakkite
Why not put the lighting by the side of the refugium? At that height, I think the splash may cause corrosion to the LED PCB board.

The light is pretty much encased in its plastic housing, plus, I've covered all exposed screws with insulation tape

reef garden
The algae looks very pale. Is it receiving enough hours of light? Be careful in case it turns sexual. K_Gokiburi
The algae looks very pale. Is it receiving enough hours of light? Be careful in case it turns sexual. It seems happy enough, it's producing quite a bit of oxygen bubbles, and I leave the lights on 20 hours a day

SRC Member peacemaker Posted April 27, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted April 27, 2013 The light is pretty much encased in its plastic housing, plus, I've covered all exposed screws with insulation tape It's not gonna help. Been there, done that. Instead, you can consider applying a layer of Vaseline on all the metal surfaces, including screws. That will be more effective.
